5 Days / 4 Nights This will be a trip filled with adrenaline rush activities combined with the rich culture that Yogyakarta has to offer.
This event has all the ingredients for a thrilling experience: underground exploration of the Jomblang cave, cross country cycling, white water rafting and last but not least, the climb of Java’s most active volcano, Mount Merapi. We’ll climb early morning to witness the sunrise at the peak. And of course Yogyakarta’s cultural heritage will be on the programme as well...
Yogyakarta is the centre of Javanese culture and is the second most important tourist destination in Indonesia after Bali. We will absorb this strong Javanese culture and tradition by visiting some of the world’s most famous sites like the Borobudur and Prambanan temples, but also have a look at the unique Javanese court Kraton culture. We’ll attend an outdoor ballet performance in Prambanan as well, a performance which involved 200 artisans; dancers and gamelan musicians.
